F-Flute is Convertech’s 1.2 mm corrugated board. It shares the full G-Flute build, from barrier film to outer liner, with a taller flute for trays and forms that need more wall.

When to choose F-Flute

More wall where the format asks for it.

G-Flute covers most baking trays and cake bases. F-Flute takes over when size, shape or load call for a stiffer wall.

Larger formats

Long and wide trays and forms, where a thin wall would flex across the span during filling, baking or handling.

Demanding geometry

Deep walls, tall sides and shapes with geometric constraints that need the board to hold its form under load.

Heavier fills

Products with a higher fill weight, where the tray carries more mass from depositor to oven, freezer and shelf.

Board build

Same five layers. A taller core.

Only the corrugated medium changes. The barrier film, liners, starch bonding and outer kraft layer are the same as in G-Flute.

One family, two wall thicknesses.

Both boards are produced on the same converting lines, under the same ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems. The choice between them is made per format, during the specification session with our team.
